Are the exercises gender-specific?
It is completely wrong to think of the training as gender-specific. Both exercises can be performed by men and women for the same purpose. The difference between the two is their intensity because naturally, men have stronger muscles than women. This is why professionals are needed to recommend the correct intensity of training for each gender.
Final thoughts
As we move from an active lifestyle to a passive one, I recommend performing these exercises at the same time. By this I mean, let’s not forget to look after our lower body while obsessively working on our abs and strengthening our core. And vice versa.
We should strive for overall body balance, and squats and deadlifts can help create that balance. If you’re always unmotivated to work out, you can join a health club with people who share your goals and celebrate reaching milestones together.
